I started Freelancing in 2009. A time before the web had a course for everything, Tom from MySpace was the main man and remote was something for the TV. I’ve been doing this ever since, gaining experience by working across print, digital and motion design in a wide variety of industries.
Building strong relationships is important to me which is reflected in the fact that the majority of my clients have worked with me for over 5 years.. and some well over a decade!
I’m no stranger to following strict guidelines of well-known brands whilst working alongside account managers. I’ve also dreamt up brands with founders of start-ups or new artists who put their heart and soul into it all. This means I can be a fresh set of eyes for your brand with new ideas as much as I can be a chameleon, blending into your existing look to create consistency.
Being freelance, I can work through requests quickly keeping clients happy with speedy turnarounds – as long as there’s a tight brief and a responsive point of contact.
I work with clients on ad-hoc basis as well as the option of being a remote member of their team on retainer, not only providing regular design support to keep businesses looking consistent but also knowing your business well and working closely with your team. So, if you’re ready for a designer but can’t commit to a full-time salaried position, I’m another option!
