I was originally going to do a whole party scene on the roof top but it was starting to look like one of those over done, crammed, mixtape covers – not the sort of look they’d be wanting for a single, so I went with something a little more simple.

On May 10th ESQ releases his single Yeah Buddy – it’s also his birthday so make sure you send a birthday message to @MeetESQ! The cover is simple, ESQ came to me knowing exactly what he wanted, a wooden styled cover with the one color illustration of him carved into it. Here’s a Project for recording artist, Prominant. For the mixtape cover he wanted something simple, and mentioned he’s coming back to the rap scene, representing VA so putting the skyline in the background seemed like it could grab the attention of the locals with a slightly aged effect to finish it off.
