Here’s the myspace overlay design for Neubla 1 which is complete with a flash banner. The design revolved around the album cover to ‘How to make a million dollars tomorrow’ (the gas mask guy). Here’s a regular myspace page for CeeKaiH, a reggae artist backed by Rock The Nation Sound. It was to revolve around the red/green/yellow/black colors, and they wanted the vector to be shown on a girls T-shirt for the banner, so it was done The design changed quite a bit from the first drafts, it just wasn’t neat enough and I originally had yellow as the main color which ended up looking way too bright. Here’s a very different project from me, I like a little diversity. This is for use at a Free Palestine demonstration in London, outside Ahava’s store, to inform passers by what’s going on. No point repeating myself so view the flyer to learn a little more about that. I kept the design light and clean so it’s easy on the eyes and focuses on the information, I just wanted the stamp style heading to draw peoples attention.

The design to Nebula’s Soundclick page was to revolve around the album cover with the skeletal hand. He also wanted certain items to be used around the background and title sections. As the final SAW movie is approaching and the promotional material is starting to be released, I thought I’d dedicate a blog post to my favorite horror movie posters. Ever since I saw the SAW II poster on the sides of double-decker buses I’ve loved the SAW posters. They make you stare at them, they’re controversial and have great manipulations.

Recently I’ve seen a lot of vectors of people which have smoothly blended skin tones and are half cartoon, half life like. I decided I wanted to give it a go but to keep the skin tones harsh to create an abstract effect. Once I was complete I chose to change the colors to purples/blues to further the abstract look.

This is my first time doing a color vector – as you can see in my blog my others are simple black & white ones with one color to make it pop. I’m no illustrator but I’m trying to get to grips with Ai more. This took me a fair few hours but they were broken up so it wasn’t too bad.

It could do with a clean up but… How did I do?
