Recently I’ve got a lot of orders through which haven’t really had reasonable deadlines, I know I’ll always get this but just a kind note to anyone I work with in the future. Please inquire about waiting lists, how busy I am before you set your project deadlines, or at least, well before your release date.

For example right now I have a 3 week waiting list, I’m literally snowed under. I am currently just one person too and unfortunately they tell me I’m not allowed to clone myself for an extra set of hands… That’s a three week wait plus the time needed to create a project. If your planning your project right you should have things sorted out, to be started on a future date and to be finished on a date.

Rushed work is sometimes sloppy work, hence why I hate being rushed and also why I don’t do 24/48hr turnarounds.

Remember, all clients are paying, so unless you’re willing to pay a rush fee your project can’t go in front of the others who have paid, sent in all images and brief etc before you. Unless of course they aren’t needing the work for a couple of months. I do all I can to try and make projects fit together in order to make all deadlines.

Ask anyone who knows me (except the fools who think I make money by just sitting on my arse doing something easy of course… smh). I work like stink to please everyone I work with, I wave bye bye to a lot of social time sometimes too to make deadlines. I make big sacrifices, but I promised myself I wouldn’t work for more than 12 hours a day since the new year ‘cos it gets a bit silly… Please don’t forget I work on at least 5 projects at a time and that I also have a life, events to attend, friends and family… just like you.

Oh and whilst I’m at it, things like… ‘Really sorry but please can you change this….’ just after I’ve wrapped up a project after the finals have been approved by a client and sent off isn’t happening anymore. Up till 5am doing revisions after approval is so not cool. I’m a nice person, but being too nice does kick you in the ass in the long run.

I went down to Car-Stuff today, and I saw the brand new sign It’s 8×4ft and a lot bigger than I imagined for some reason lol. Came out nice. Here’s some pictures below.

I also saw the two 8×4ft vinyl banners which are outside the business park.
