This is a personal piece started today and surprisingly managed to finish within 5-6 hours. Record time for me. The purpose was to generally just practice illustrator more.

It’s a vector/illustration based on the Walther P1 which is a revamped version of the P38. General issue for German police and soldiers, post World War II. I love the look of this pistol, it’s in my top 3 favorites (yeah I know right… sad that I have a top of favorite pistols). Manchester illustrator, Matt Daniels aka Stickypop held an art exhibition, with pieces from awesome illustrators. It was to celebrate his girlfriends life as she sadly passed away earlier this year. The venue was immense, really modern with awesome walls, if you’re ever in Manchester visit the Walrus Bar  Below are pictures of most the pieces, unfortunately a couple of the pictures came out super blurred, I have a picture with four in (instead of two’s) but I’m completely missing two pieces (Anyone got a pic of the tinkerbell piece with the one next to it that I can share?)

It was a good night out and I’m happy to say Matt raised £1,413 for Francis House Hospice, they’ll be proud!
