Ever since I first saw an article about light painting I wanted to try it. That must have been over a year ago, but a couple of weeks ago I saw this article on Abduzeedo.com and thanks to Christopher Hibbert explaining the process I finally had a go last night. Waiting for it to get dark was a trial! The pics below are done by me and my mate, they’re not brilliant but not too bad for the first attempt. Next time we’re going to try using different colors and see how that turns out.

That’s me!

That’s my mate!

Coming up with something that can actually be drawn in the short space of time – without seeing where you’ve just drawn – can be quite hard. Was quite fun to try out so if you have a DSLR and torch go and try it out too. It’s not as hard as I thought, in fact a massive ‘WHAAAY’ could be heard when we reviewed our first try which actually worked!
